Alternative title: Hey jerk I think your weblog is broken.
Looking through my webserver logs yesterday I saw this search phrase:
site:robreed.net boku
I'd guess the visitor was looking for these posts I made about [Boku, a programming environment of kids])(http://www.informationweek.com/blog/main/archives/2007/03/microsoft_resea.html "InformationWeek.com article - Mar 29, 2007") from Matt MacLaurin of Microsoft Research.
Unfortunately, Google sent the visitor to an empty page :(
The reason? If you read the message above you know that I've recently transitioned this site to a new platform I've been working on.
This site is the first personal weblog based on Ode (pronounced oh-dee), a new weblog app I've been working on. You can find out more about ode at ode-is-simple.com.
Like it's author, Ode has a tendency to be a pain in the ass stickler and refused to cough up the right posts because the case of the request didn't match the case of the path to the posts. Come on Ode, be reasonable!
We had a nice chat - translation: I bullied her (feminine pronoun intended to express endearment) like an old prospector kicking a rented mule (I do not condone the kicking of mules) and now she is being much more reasonable. Paths are now case-insensitive under ode by default.
